Do you worry about the recession?
Are you concerned about your financial future?
Do you feel confident that your job is secure?
In an interview do you feel confident you would stand out against the competition?
Tough Times Ahead
In the current economic climate many people are becoming increasingly stressed about their financial future. Every week there seems to be more and more doom and gloom in the news about the struggling economy. Banks and even small countries are going bankrupt. Many companies are going bust, and others are tightening their financial belts, reducing staff costs where possible, freezing recruitment and making staff redundant. As a result fewer jobs are available, and competition for them increases, making it harder to get a job, and harder to hold onto onto the one you’ve got.
When times get tough its quite natural for you to become more and more stressed and worried. Stress, worries, limiting beliefs, negative thinking, low confidence, poor self esteem, poor relationship skills, insomnia, depression and unhelpful coping strategies all work against you. They reduce your effectiveness, performance and decision making ability.
The problem with stress and anxiety is that they often make the very thing your are worried about even worse. For example, lets say you are worried about your job security. Because of this worry, you might find your concentration, judgement, confidence, ability to sleep and clarity of thought are affected. Which means your performance at work becomes compromised further. As you feel less and less able to do your job, you worry more about it, and so the cycle continues. Actually taking you deeper and deeper in a downward spiral towards the very thing you are most worried about happening.
Are you performing at your best?
Ironically this is also the very time in your life when you really need to be performing at your absolute best. If you are not then you could lose out as your competition races ahead of you and takes the job and business that could be yours.
Resilient people view problems as challenges to be overcome, and turn difficulties into opportunities. They perservere despite obstacles and setbacks. They have a positive outlook and they believe in themselves and their abilities. Having this positive attitude allows them to stay ahead of the competition, think smarter, work smarter, be on the ball, be open to opportunities, and stay flexible and creative.
If you could improve yourself what would you change?

Upward Spiral – Finding a solution
When it comes to personal problems you can either focus on the problem itself and get yourself mired deeper and deeper into it, or you can focus on finding a solution and begin to turn what was once a problem into an opportunity to improve the rest of your life.
A solution that can enable you to become all that you can be, is available at the Inner Changes Manchester practice and is highly individualised to your exact requirements making it highly successful.
The exact form of treatment and number of sessions will vary from person to person. However improvements can often be made in as little as 4 to 8 sessions for specific issues, for more deep rooted or complex problems, 8 or more will be required.
